Me and my brother

This is a picture me and my brother (I actually have two). He is 2 yrs younger than me and we used to be close. Now, not as much.

Anyway, he is in the Army and is deploying this week for the second time to Iraq.

I am so proud of him but at the same time, I am scared for him, for us.

He has three children and a new wife. He has just come back into our life's in the past few years and now will be gone for another year. I am not sure exactly when he is leaving, he could be gone now. I just know it is this week. His oldest and only son's bday is on Thursday.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He said if we do pull out of Iraq this year, he will be there longer than a year.

Thanks.

Awww...what a cute pic! Thanks to your brother for his service! He, and all of the men and women in military service overseas, are always in my thoughts.

Cute picture. Will do on the thoughts and prayers. I hope that he comes back safe and that you can once again become close.

{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}I can so relate. My brother served in Iraq and was in a Humvee when a car bomb rammed it. One of his best friends was in the humvee with him and was killed. When he came home we were so relieved, even more relieved when he was discharged. But now, he is waiting to hear from special forces, if he doesn't make it in..then he is going to go back to active army. As you know, that means another tour.

So all I am getting at, is that I can so relate and am sending hugs, thoughts and prayers his way for a safe return, his family's way for strength and hope, and your way for peace.

Thanks, y'all. He left on the 13th. His wife is miserable already. As the big sister, I feel the need to get her and really my whole family through this.

I think about him and get choked up.
