Sick and tired of being sick and tired

Yeah that pretty much sums it up! If it isn't one thing it is another. Usually it is my allergies in some form and I am almost 100% sure that I will have to find an allergist again. I haven't had to get shots for a long time. I just recently got an inhaler which I haven't had for at least 6 yrs, probably more.

I still battle fatigue and pains in my neck, back and shoulders. My doctor has said that is stress and yeah it is. I can tell because there are times when I have nothing to think about and I am pain free! It is soo nice.

And it is like a vicious circle because here is the thing... I know part of it is my weight but I don't feel good so I don't work out or eat right. I am tired all the time so I don't work out or eat right and because I don't do either I feel tired and feel crappy. Isn't that nice?

I mean I get it. I do but it is sooo hard to break that cycle.

However, I would like to report that I finally had a productive weekend. I finally felt good! All weekend. For two whole days! I got so much done!

And then today I am sore! and tired! and back to .... well my normal anyway. But also a bit different, why? because I feel good about all I got done that I overcame some of my "issues" and was able to do the things I have needed to for so long.

I am also doing Weight Watchers at work, taking the stairs to the 4th floor at work (and back down) and trying to take control of my life and health again.

Hello my friend! Uh oh, you're busting my bubble...I thought that the Mid-Atlantic was the worst for allergies...it sounds like Texas has them too.

I also get allergy shots, with allergy meds, and they all just barely keep it under control.

I hear you about the stress-induced physical discomfort. Last night, my chest felt tight and sore, so (of course) I was sure I was having a heart attack. Never mind the fact that there's been extra work stress lately, and I've been doing some extra arm and chest exercise. Morning's here and I am much better, but I'm sure it's stress-related. Take care of yourself!! Hugs to you!

I'm right with you in the exercise and rubbish food ring. It's soo hard to be motivated when you're feeling so awful about yourself - I totally get that. But it was great that you had a good weekend, which seems to have lifted you.

I'm sorry about your allergies - that's enough to get you down - must feel like you're going backwards rather than forwards.

Big ((HUGS)) to you my over the pond sister. Check my post with Eleanor's video - that should give you a laugh and a smile.

Much love xxxxx

Allergies are REALLY bad right now, luckily I am not suffering from them..but hey, I am suffering a nasty version of the flu which my husband swears he did not give me, even though our symptoms are identical and we are both currently hacking up our lungs. Should be a interesting sight to see when I'm at the candidate forums, TRYING to give a little info about myself to all those who don't know me. My sign guy offered up a new slogan for me which I'm kind of considering..."Do you know how to defeat the 'good ole boys club'? You elect a girl! " LOL
I think through life we seriously need to keep our sense of humor, otherwise, we'll suffer from serious stress related illnesses.
Take care!
